About Lila’s Backyard
Lila’s Backyard shares what nature naturally gives; joy, freedom, and restoration. Vibrantly bringing nature into people’s homes and businesses, Lila’s Backyard creates an atmosphere of community, finding rest in nature, and delighting in beauty. Services offered include interior plant styling for homes and businesses and interior plant care consultations.
*important note: Lila’s Backyard exclusively works on bringing plants to interior spaces, bringing nature indoors. At this time, we do not offer exterior landscaping services.
Founded by Victoria Buendia, the name "Lila's Backyard" was inspired by Victoria’s pup, Lila. Lila encapsulates the joyfully-free and beautifully-wild spirit that is the core of ‘Lila’s Backyard’.
“Backyard,” refers to a combined sense of nature and home. Home in its deepest sense is a place where you can truly just be; be free, be true, and be as you are. While “home” can often be found in a physical space, it is also often found in a person, song, or something else. Backyards in people’s homes (physically and metaphorically speaking) are adjacent regenerative parts of the “home” in which rest, play, community, work, and experiencing the glory of life takes place.
Weaving “Lila’s Backyard” together speaks to it being a place of rest, hope, and freedom, inviting you to bring beautiful life-filled nature into your interior spaces too.
